We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Vice President of Sales to lead our nationwide sales team. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with financial and revenue cycle leaders at health systems across the US, driving pipeline development, deal strategy, and sales execution. Your efforts will be crucial in achieving our ambitious annual growth goals.
Position Objective
The Regional Vice President, Sales will sell Knowtion Health�s revenue cycle solutions to acute care hospital and healthcare systems. This position will be assigned to a specific geographical sales territory for the Northeast United States (including but not limited to NY, CT, MA, RI, VT, NH, and ME), but there may be specific situations whereby there could be accounts assigned based upon unique situations.
The Opportunity:
- Developing new business opportunities that result in meeting and exceeding annual quota targets through sales to new customers and expanding options to existing clients.
- Responsible for execution of the developed sales strategies, objectives, sales booking goals, and targeted revenue generation.
- Development of the Knowtion Health Brand within the assigned territory, state or region.
- Negotiating contract terms and pricing with top level hospital management.
- Proven track record of closing new business in healthcare revenue cycle and exceeding sales targets using a sales process method.
- Maintain and update Salesforce to drive sales success.
- Facilitates implementation kick off between new clients and our implementation and client services team.
- Identify market analysis and evaluation of competition.
- Generate new leads, follow up on leads, and conduct research to identify potential prospects.
- Conduct a needs analysis for each prospect and determine prospects pain points to determine how the Knowtion Health solutions will speak to those needs.
- Analyze sales pipeline reports and dashboards and keep current in real time.
What you bring:
- Demonstrated success selling into hospitals, preferably revenue cycle management services to Hospital CFO�s, Director, Patient Financial Services, and Revenue Cycle VPs.
- 7+ years of experience in business development in selling to hospital with at least 3 years with a revenue cycle focus.
- Bachelor�s Degree or Equivalent working experience.
- Knowledge and execution of proposal writing, and CRM software preferred.
- Highly motivated, self-starter able to develop and maintain relationships with major or key clients and prospects.
- Demonstrated attention to detail with ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting all important timelines and deadlines.
- Motivated self-starter with ability to build pipelines, have strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, and be able to close deals.
- Ability to travel up to 30% of time.
