About The Department
UOB Innovation Hub 2 (InnoHub2) is a UOB-wholly owned subsidiary and a Centre of Excellence based in Malaysia, providing Group Business Services (GBS) to support the UOB Group. Started in 2021 with technology application design, development and support, InnoHub2 is expanding beyond technology services to deliver other business services to support the Bank’s growth ambition. Job Responsibilities
Manage and oversees vendor development activities across Temenos WSC cutting across multiple technology stacks (EdgeConnect/UXP, TCIB/WUI, TAP Core, oData services, Oracle, Actuate, ITX integration components).
Establish and enforce UOB development and engineering best practices, coding standards, peer review discipline, and reusable component frameworks to ensure compliance by vendor team
Provide technical leadership in resolving complex issues and ensuring optimal design decisions during the development phase
Ensure the development work is aligned with UOB development methodology and framework as well as the deliverables adhere to Temenos WealthSuite architecture standards, API standards, security controls, regulatory/non‑functional requirements (NFRs), and bank-wide governance.
Drive design consistency across modules, channels, and integration layers.
Oversee end‑to‑end technical delivery across multiple releases/sprints, ensuring on-time, quality delivery.
Govern code quality, integration patterns, and performance adherence.
Lead resolution of development related technical issues (eg connectivity, code scanning, performance, SIT/functional defects).
Work with System Analysts to validate feasibility and ensure clarity of requirements
Support SIT/UAT/NFT phases including performance, security, resiliency, and regression testing.
Ensuring clarity of technical deliverables and adherence to FSD and solution baseline.
Coordinate with vendor delivery team to drive performance, code quality, and delivery commitments.
Coordinate and ensure development artefacts and deliverables will be integrated into UOB Central DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and shift-left quality.

Job Requirements
Strong hands-on experience with Temenos WealthSuite, including EdgeConnect UXP, TCIB, WUI, Triple A+ / TAP Core, OData, ITX Integration, and Actuate/Opentext reporting.
Solid proficiency in Unix/Linux shell scripting, Oracle SQL/PLSQL, and integration technologies.
Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and source control practices.
Minimum 10–12 years of hands-on development experience, with at least 5 years leading large technical teams (15–25 developers).
Proven track record delivering end-to-end Private Banking / Wealth Management solutions, including at least one major Temenos WealthSuite implementation or upgrade.
Experience managing mixed teams (internal, vendor) across cross-functional and multi-stream project environments.
Strong capability in application analysis, technical design, system integration, and code review within the Private Banking domain.
Ability to guide teams on development and engineering best practices, solution consistency, and quality assurance throughout SDLC.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills across senior business and technology teams.
Ability to work independently with a resilient, solution-driven mindset, especially in high-pressure situations.
Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies, software development frameworks, and structured delivery processes.
Must-Have Technical Skills
Deep hands-on experience with Temenos WealthSuite R19 and above, specifically:
EdgeConnect (UXP)
TAP Core / Triple A+
oData, REST APIs, integration patterns
Actuate/Opentext reporting
ITX Integration
Strong command of:
Unix/Linux shell scripting
Oracle SQL/PLSQL
API/Microservices concepts
Event-driven architecture
CI/CD, DevOps pipelines, Git branching strategies
Strong expertise in complex enterprise system design, integration, and development engineering.
Good-to-Have
Experience with:
OpenShift / containerization
Kafka/event streaming
Web technologies
Automation frameworks (JMeter, etc.)
Certifications: Temenos, Java SpringBoot, PMP, Agile/Scrum.
