Job Description
- Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies for internal and external audiences aligned with the Bank’s objectives.
- Handle CEO’s executive communications, including speeches, presentations, and thought leadership content.
- Lead and manage a communications team, ensuring high performance and professional development.
- Review and approve team outputs extensively to maintain quality, accuracy, and alignment with brand and strategic objectives.
- Manage corporate messaging and brand reputation across all channels (press releases, intranet, eDMs, videos, social media, etc.).
- Oversee crisis communication efforts, ensuring timely and accurate information dissemination.
- Monitor media coverage and stakeholder sentiment, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Ensure compliance with brand guidelines and regulatory requirements in all communications.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 15 years in corporate communications, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Knowledge Areas:
- Knowledge of the financial industry or financial products to ensure accurate and relevant messaging.
- Strategic communication planning and leadership.
- Executive communications for C-suite.
- Media relations and crisis management.
- Digital and social media platforms.
- Brand and reputation management.
- Technical Skills: Advanced writing and editing, stakeholder engagement, analytics tools for media monitoring.
- Strategic Communication Leadership: Ability to align messaging with business objectives and lead a team effectively.
- Executive Communication Expertise: Skilled in crafting high-impact content for CEO and senior leaders.
- Media Relations: Strong network and ability to manage press relationships.
- Content Development: Expertise in creating compelling narratives for diverse audiences.
- Digital Communication: Proficiency in social media strategy and analytics.
- Crisis Management: Strong decision-making under pressure.
