Job Summary: 

Helmerich & Payne is looking for Operations Engineer. They will monitor the rig operations daily and must identify and escalate inefficiencies in drilling operations and tracking of mechanical failures, predictive maintenance of rig equipment’s. Collect required information and analyse drilling data based on the performance KPIs set specific for Rigs/Customers/Basin. Through this analysis we are expecting to minimise the NPTs and improved drilling efficiencies there by better performance and revenue from each rig. Performance Engineers will be working closely with other teams on executing the action item identified by them.  

Responsibilities: 

Specific duties may include but are not limited to: 

Gather daily drilling information from tour sheets and various other sources and maintain the data up to date for US land rigs 

Prepare PBI report for the performance KPIs.  

Communicate with US PE team for the KPIs and the unique requirements of each customer.  

Modify the data tracking tools and PBI reports based on these requirements. 

Provide daily KPI based information’s to US PEs, so that they can work closely with Rigs to improve those if needed.  

Monitor multiple rigs in real-time to identify performance optimization and risk mitigation opportunities.  

Help the PEs in their Bi-weekly, Monthly meeting with the customers. 

Tracking the outliers for improved efficiency and minimum NPT. 

Mechanical Failure Tracking & Predictive Maintenance 

Record and analyze equipment failures 

Identify recurring failure patterns  

Establish a standard for these KPI based reports among the US land rigs. 

Education, knowledge, skills, and abilities: 

Education: 

• Minimum bachelor’s degree Petroleum engineering with 0 to 2 years of professional experience 

Basic qualifications: 

• Knowledge on various drilling operations and good grasp for trend analysis 

• Excellent communication, presentation, and client relations skills 

• Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks quickly and effectively. 

• Willingness to learn and adapt. 

• Independent and self-motivated individual 

• Effectiveness in problem solving, Teamwork 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Familiarity with all types of drilling operations, rig operations, rig equipments and well completion operations. 

• Basic idea about PBI data modelling and report generation analytical skills 

Work Schedule and working conditions: 

• This is a 5-day week job includes daily meetings in our evenings with US counterparts. 

• This will be an office job either from Goa or Noida office.  

• Includes travel to visit team members in either office location.
