Job Specific Working Conditions:
Pendleton, Oregon is a family friendly community at the base of the Blue Mountains in eastern Oregon with a vibrant Young Life tradition of 11 years. We are seeking to grow our team with a mission minded follower of Jesus Christ to partner with our area director and local team.
Essential Responsibilities:

2) Lead 1-2 volunteer teams in direct Young Life ministry

Fundraising goal:
1) 70% of salary in personal monthly support upon hire
2) 30% of salary in personal monthly support at the end first year of employment

Mission Staff
Summary:Mission / AuthorityThrough both training and direct field ministry experience, learn how to lead and participate in effective Young Life ministry.
Ministry Functions:
Spiritual Development — “Following Jesus” includes prayer and spiritual disciplines, fellowship, growth and health and church relationships.
Leadership Development — “Equipping leaders, committee and staff” includes key volunteer care, recruiting, team building and training, supervision and vision casting.
Resource Development — “Fueling the ministry” includes events, major donor care, public relations (branding) and TDS team.
Direct Ministry — “Proclaiming and modeling” includes contact work, club, Campaigners and camp.
Ministry Support — “Taking care of business” includes accounting, administration, communication (internal), data management and strategic plan.
