Position Overview
The Global Network Inventory Analyst is responsible for managing the complete lifecycle of network hardware inventory across JLL's global infrastructure. This role ensures accurate tracking, optimal stock levels, and financial control of all network devices while maintaining compliance with organizational standards and supporting business continuity.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management & Control
Manages the global repository of network hardware assets including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and related infrastructure components. Maintains accurate records of all devices from procurement through deployment to decommissioning. Implements and enforces inventory control processes to prevent loss, theft, or unauthorized use of equipment.
Stock Planning & Optimization
Analyzes usage patterns and business requirements to determine optimal stock levels across global locations. Coordinates with regional IT teams to forecast hardware needs and ensure adequate spare inventory for business continuity. Manages reorder points and works with procurement to maintain appropriate buffer stock while minimizing carrying costs.
Financial Reconciliation & Invoice Management
Reviews and validates invoices from vendors for network hardware purchases, ensuring accuracy in quantities, pricing, and delivery terms. Reconciles purchase orders against received goods and financial records. Tracks budget utilization and provides regular reporting on inventory spending and variances.
Asset Tracking & Documentation
Maintains comprehensive asset database with detailed information including serial numbers, specifications, locations, warranty status, and lifecycle stage. Generates regular reports on inventory levels, asset utilization, aging equipment, and warranty expirations. Ensures data accuracy through periodic physical audits and reconciliation.
Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination
Serves as primary contact for network hardware vendors regarding orders, deliveries, and returns. Collaborates with procurement, finance, network engineering, and regional IT teams to align inventory practices with organizational needs. Coordinates equipment transfers between locations to optimize resource utilization.
Process Improvement & Compliance
Develops and refines standard operating procedures for inventory management activities. Ensures compliance with asset management policies, financial controls, and audit requirements. Identifies opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements in inventory processes.
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field, or equivalent practical experience. 3-5 years of experience in IT asset management, inventory control, or related field, preferably in a global organization.
Technical Skills
Working knowledge of network hardware components and their specifications. Proficiency with asset management systems and inventory tracking tools. Strong Excel skills for data analysis and reporting. Familiarity with procurement and ERP systems.
Core Competencies
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping. Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and identify trends. Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities. Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration. Understanding of financial processes including purchase orders, invoicing, and reconciliation.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with ITIL asset management practices. Knowledge of network infrastructure and telecommunications equipment. Certification in supply chain or asset management (e.g., CSCP, CPSM). Experience working in a matrix organization across multiple geographic regions. Familiarity with inventory optimization methodologies.
Working Conditions
This position may require occasional domestic or international travel for physical inventory audits. Flexibility to coordinate with global teams across different time zones may be necessary. Standard office environment with potential hybrid work arrangements subject to business needs.

Estimated compensation for this position:
110,000.00 – 115,000.00 USD per yearThis range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
