Job Description
This is a remote, field-based position in USA. Perform responsibilities for Logistics Support Specialist I. Monitor and assist with critical shipments with expedited service providers. Resolve and escalate order management, inventory, and transportation issues. Support Service Parts Logistics Specialists (PFC) team with resolutions to fulfill orders and deadlines. Act as the liaison between Third Party Logistics and courier vendors to find and implement improvements and solutions. Track UPS transportation incidents, meet with UPS to work on root cause and improvements Evaluate capital equipment usage and recommend to management procurement requirements. Manage the required purchasing of materials and packaging for the Capital equipment and tools. Act as the departments Oracle subject-matter expert (SME). Train new hires regarding Oracle Business Suite, Oracle Business Intelligence, SharePoint, reporting systems, and department process flow. Report the department's monthly activity. Develop written procedures for the department. Responsible for the administrative duties of the parts cannibalization process. Recommend solutions to reduce expenses. Serve as the main point of contact for UPS Supply Chain Solution incidents. Manage inventory at forward stocking locations through monthly inventory audit report and daily management of ASNs, quarantine, returns, defectives, and shipments. Special projects as assigned.
