Health Informatics Coordinator III

Under the general direction of Manager/Director of Health Informatics, Health Informatics Coordinator III accesses, inputs, and retrieves information, and solves problems using various computer systems. This position is responsible to verify and ensure receipt of all medical records upon patient�s discharge, prep, scan and index the same. This person acts as the liaison for physician offices and other hospital staff and assists physicians and other medical personnel in achieving timely, accurate, and complete documentation practices. This position also analyzes the medical record for chart completion deficiencies, in accordance with regulatory requirements and Medical Staff Rules and Regulations.
