Overview As a Client Associate on the Employee Benefits team, you will support account managers in delivering high-quality service to clients. This is a great opportunity to build industry knowledge while gaining hands-on experience with benefits programs and client service. You’ll assist with day-to-day account activities, collaborate with internal teams, and help ensure client needs are met accurately and efficiently. In this role, you’ll learn the fundamentals of employee benefits, strengthen your organizational and problem-solving skills, and grow in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. All work is completed under the guidance of experienced team members, providing strong mentorship as you develop. As your knowledge and confidence grow, you’ll have the opportunity to take on more responsibility and contribute more independently. How you'll make an impact • Maintain and prioritize a task list on a regular basis as directed • Provide support to local GBS office by completing ad hoc administrative tasks as needed and directed • Learn and support the Client Service Cycle with oversight from experienced team members to ensure a seamless renewal process and retain the business • Study and apply Gallagher’s resources, available tools, established work products and knowledge to maximize efficiency and effectiveness in client deliverables with oversight from experienced team members • Establish positive relationships within the branch • Complete all training necessary to become familiar with the GBS Professional Standards, including Peer Review • Assist Client Service Manager with the preparation of RFPs, coordinate vendor responses, and support the development of client presentations • Leverage team members to ensure timely delivery of requests for clients, vendors and internal partners • Develop strong oral and written communication skills, demonstrated through the ability to effectively present in open enrollment meetings, participate on client calls and correspond via email • Be innovative and don’t be satisfied with the status quo! Generate new and practical ideas, always look to improve • Maintain up-to-date records in Document Management System (DMS) • Comply with Gallagher’s processes, BOSS standards and office initiatives. • Complete training and professional development to gain understanding of the insurance industry • Exemplify the highest ethical standards, promote ethical behavior and uphold The Gallagher Way. About You Required: High School diploma/equivalent plus 1 year directly applicable experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic math skills. Preferred: Associate's degree, professional certification, or equivalent training and experience preferred. Previous experience managing client relationships. Behaviors: Exceptional organizational skills, Proficient in using technology as a tool to maximize productivity and quality. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Preferred: Life & Health License (or obtained within first 90 days of employment) Compensation and benefits We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position.
