The Construction team (Superintendent/Foreman)
- The Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of a crew to ensure efficient and safe completion of tasks. The position plays a key role in developing talent, maintaining quality standards, and fostering a positive working environment. This role will manage and develop a three-person crew daily.
- The Superintendent is a key management position responsible for the successful execution and completion of projects within a specified timeframe and budget. This role involves overseeing daily operations, managing resources, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining high-quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Supervision: Direct and assign tasks to crew members, monitor performance, ensure daily time logging in JobTread.
Project Coordination: Collaborate with superintendents and project managers, complete daily tasks and logs in JobTread.
Quality Assurance: Inspect work for quality and specifications, address issues promptly.
Safety: Follow safety procedures, report incidents, ensure compliance.
Maintenance: Report equipment needs, perform daily inspections, ensure equipment is greased and in good condition.
Communication: Share project updates, relay information between crew and superintendents.
Technical Skills: Read pool design plans, facilitate excavation, install plumbing/conduits, construct equipment pads, install grounding grids, locate/repair leaks, and install winter covers.
Qualifications:
Experience in pool construction or related industry preferred.
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Valid driver’s license & DOT medical card required.
Ability to read construction plans and ensure safety and quality standards.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
The Project Management team is responsible for planning, overseeing, and delivering projects within the specified time, budget, and scope. They collaborate with superintendents, project coordinators and foreman to ensure that project objectives align with customer expectations. A career with purpose.
Responsibilities:
Project Planning: Define scope, develop schedules/budgets, and allocate resources.
Design Interpretation: Read pool design plans and collaborate with customers and internal teams for accurate execution.
Site Assessment: Evaluate site conditions (soil, drainage, utilities) using the company’s Preconstruction worksheet.
Material Selection: Order materials on excavation day, ensuring quality and budget compliance.
Risk & Budget Management: Identify risks, manage budgets, create change orders, and find cost-saving opportunities.
Quality Assurance: Maintain quality standards, perform site visits, update customers, and log progress in JobTread.
Project Execution: Ensure tasks are completed on time and within budget, keeping JobTread updated.
Communication: Participate in weekly production meetings and keep teams and customers informed.
Closure: Conduct project closeout reviews, finalize projects, and offer maintenance services to customers.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Project Manager (pool industry preferred)
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Proficiency in reading construction plans/blueprints
Knowledge of pool construction materials, equipment, and techniques
Familiarity with project management tools (JobTread experience a plus)
Valid driver’s license
Understanding of safety regulations and compliance
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
