CNC - Production Team Member

As a Production Team Member you can expect: Hourly wage starting at $21.22/hr. Must be flexible to work 12-hour shifts (7pm-7am Mon to Thurs) RRSP Program Dental care Extended health care Life insurance Employee assistance program Company events On-site parking Paid time off Store discount Wellness program Responsibilities: Use power tools and hand tools including, but not limited to bandsaw, disc sander, drill press, router, impact driver, mitre saw, pocket drill, and spindle sander. Run extrusion machines as required. Load components in jigs and fasten for manual assembly, as required. Load and unload CNC machines, as required. Load/unload and pack at robotic work centers, as required. Log onto the work center to record work orders, scrap, and downtime. Document shift activity by completing production and quality logs. 5S and cleanup as required. Follow Standard Work Instructions to perform work center-specific tasks. Other duties as required. Education/Skills/Experience: Previous furniture assembly experience preferred. Experience using power and hand tools (saws, routers, drills). Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating, and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Specific vision abilities required by this job may include but are not limited to close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
