The Foreman position essential duties and responsibilities, as it relates to our renovation efforts: 


  • Report directly to our Renovations Director and be responsible for our scope of work on site for each assigned renovation project.
  • Schedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure timely completion.
  • Perform quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed.
  • Communicate, manage, and work as a team player.
  • Ensure that team and subcontractor is fully executing and complying with their contracted scope of work.
  • Participate in installation/ renovation work, as well as manage other crew members on site (2-4 people)
  • Identify conflicts in construction progress and communicate them to project team for resolution.
  • Recognize unsafe conditions or hazards, with ability to correct and comply with safety protocols.
  • Read and understand blueprints/plans thoroughly.
  • Confidently lay out project according to plans, to ensure accurate measurements.
  • Operate Skid Steer & Forklift Equipment.
  • Maintain daily log (written) of activities on the jobsite.
  • Perform duties at multiple job sites, simultaneously
  • Walk projects daily to monitor activities and assist in future planning.
  • Ensure that the job site is always kept in a clean, safe, and organized manner.
  • Perform pipe pressure testing safely.
  • Repair/ replace skimmers, light niches, block anchors, dive board anchors, handrail accessories, etc.


 

 

Required Qualifications:


  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Pass background and drug screening
  • Travel out of town, by vehicle, flying or other means of transportation
  •  Work Weekends or extended hours if necessary
  •  Ability to lift 100 lbs
  • Demonstrate strong customer service skills and establish, maintain, and foster positive and effective working relationships.

Preferred Experience:

  • Pool Construction Experience (Pool specific experience not required, if applicant has other trade experience)
  • HVAC Construction Experience
  • Framing Construction Experience
  • Concrete Construction Experience

 

Physical Requirements for Construction Foreman and Superintendent at Landmark Aquatics

  • Mobility and Endurance: 
    • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours per day).
    • Capability to climb ladders, scaffolding, and navigate uneven terrain.
    • Stamina to work long hours, including potential overtime, to meet project deadlines.
  • Strength and Dexterity:
    • Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 100 pounds.
    • Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for handling tools, materials, and equipment.
  • Environmental Tolerance:
    • Ability to work in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and wind.
    • Tolerance for noisy and dusty environments, with the ability to use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Sensory Abilities:
    • Good vision (corrected or uncorrected) for inspecting work, reading blueprints, and observing safety protocols.
    • Adequate hearing (corrected or uncorrected) for effective communication and awareness of on-site hazards.
  • Flexibility and Agility:
    • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch to inspect work or demonstrate tasks.
    • Comfort with working at heights and maintaining balance on elevated surfaces.
  • General Physical Condition:
    • Overall physical fitness to perform physically demanding tasks and respond to on-site emergencies if necessary.
