Job Description
Production Warehouse Supervisor
Reports To: Warehouse Manager
Position Summary:
The Warehouse Lead / Supervisor supports daily warehouse, production, and light construction operations by coordinating personnel, materials, inventory, tools, and workflow to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. This hands-on leadership role works closely with the Warehouse Manager to support production needs, manage inventory, oversee material movement, and maintain an organized and productive work environment.
This position also requires hands-on construction and fabrication experience, including the use of basic power tools and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and production drawings.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support daily warehouse, production, and light construction/fabrication activities
Coordinate labor, materials, tools, and equipment to meet production and shipping schedules
Assign and prioritize work based on operational needs
Monitor project progress and communicate status updates to the Warehouse Manager
Manage inventory movement, including receiving, stocking, replenishment, and material distribution
Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts, audits, and inventory reconciliation
Track tools, materials, and equipment to ensure availability and accountability
Operate forklifts and oversee safe material handling practices
Operate and support use of basic construction and fabrication tools including nail guns, staple guns, power drills, saws, and other hand/power tools
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, cutsheets, and work instructions to support production and assembly tasks
Ensure employees follow safety procedures, work instructions, and quality standards
Train and provide day-to-day guidance to warehouse and production personnel
Assist with shipping, receiving, and inventory-related reporting
Support continuous improvement efforts to improve workflow and efficiency
Qualifications
5+ years of warehouse, manufacturing, production, or construction/fabrication experience
Previous lead or supervisory experience REQUIRED
Hands-on construction or fabrication experience required (use of nail guns, staple guns, saws, drills, and other power tools)
Ability to read and interpret cutsheets, blueprints, drawings, work instructions, and production specifications
Strong inventory management and material handling experience
Forklift experience required
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook and Excel
