Job Description
The NPI Final Test Engineer is responsible for providing end‑to‑end final test engineering ownership for New Product Introduction (NPI) programs, from early qualification through manufacturing ramp‑up and safe launch. This role ensures final test readiness, robustness, and manufacturability while meeting business, quality, and operational objectives.
- Own Final Test engineering for NPI products, from qualification through manufacturing ramp.
- Support new product introductions, including technology ramps, platform migrations, and Final Test characterization.
- Define and validate Final Test flows, limits, Final Test Matrix, and control plans to ensure test readiness and robustness.
- Lead yield learning, defect reduction, and root‑cause analysis during NPI builds and early production.
- Drive quality containment, hold‑lot analysis, and disposition to mitigate risk during qualification and ramp.
- Own test program buy‑off, ensuring all TP changes are reviewed, validated, and compliant prior to release.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer, or Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in semiconductor Final Test, Product Engineering, or NPI/Test Manufacturing roles.
- Hands‑on experience supporting NPI qualification, test readiness, and production ramps.
- Knowledge of Final Test processes, test flows, limits, guardbands, and control plans.
- Experience with yield analysis, defect reduction, GR&R, and root‑cause analysis is preferred.
- Test program development or modification knowledge is a strong advantage.
- Strong cross‑functional communication, problem‑solving, and documentation skills.
