YOUR ROLE
As People Operations Coordinator, you are part of the Global People Operations team and will report to the Manager, People Operations based in the USA. Your primary role will be to provide operational support to the People team, and you will also support global processes and initiatives. The People Operations coordinator will play a key role in ensuring the effective and efficient execution of HR operational work and data quality.
You will work together with the Americas regional People team and the Global People Operations team to streamline operational functions. This will require exceptional communication and follow-through skills as you collaboratively build processes that work for the entire team.
In your daily job you will:
Enter and maintain employee life cycle transactions (i.e., new hires, terminations, status changes, salary adjustments) in HRIS (Workday and Oracle) while ensuring proper approvals are collected and employee letters are generated, as necessary.
Monitor new employee onboarding to ensure complete submission of required documents and tasks while working closely with hiring manager, IT and Payroll.
Maintain the accuracy, integrity and confidentiality of sensitive company and employee data in HRIS (Workday and Oracle).
Maintain contingent workforce data (hires, terminations, extensions).
Responsible for employment verification, unemployment, and other governmental agency requests.
Provide support on data audits and clean up.
Support the set up and clean-up of electronic employee files and continued maintenance of employee files in compliance with legal requirements.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline HR processes and enhance service delivery.
Provide support for ad hoc projects as needed.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Payroll, Talent Acquisition, Compensation and other COEs to ensure seamless HR operations.
Respond to employee and manager inquiries related to HR processes, policies, and system navigation, escalating complex issues as needed.
Support reporting and analytics needs by generating standard and ad-hoc reports from Workday to assist in decision-making and compliance tracking
YOUR BACKGROUND
Key skills and competencies for succeeding in this role are:
Completed bachelor's degree
Must have strong proficiency in Workday, with hands-on experience in managing employee transactions.
+1-2 years of HR experience.
Advanced English
US human resource experience is a MUST
Intermediate Excel and other MS Office Suite tools.
Comfort with a fast-paced environment and changing requirements.
