Certified Pathology Assistant - Pathology

Under the supervision of a pathologist and in accordance with California Business and Professions Code §1269.3, the Pathology Assistant is responsible for the preparation, gross examination, and dissection of human surgical specimens. The role also includes conducting postmortem examinations, selecting appropriate tissues and fluids for analysis, collecting data for autopsy reports, and preparing bodies for release and managing laboratory operations.
