Job Description
Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Food and Beverage Coordinator to join the team of this upscale hotel. This team member will oversee various aspects of private dining, group dining, and overall F&B compliance, & operational communications at the Omni Oklahoma City Hotel.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Update and send out weekly Outlet Guide & Resume Recap every Wednesday
Knowledge and communication of daily function sheet, in-house VIP’s, current activities, hours of operation throughout the hotel, etc.
Complete daily pre-shift agenda
Create monthly F&B newsletter and calendar of events
Track and enter monthly F&B/MOS audit compliance
Assist with private and group dining arrangements, including menu customization, pricing, wine selection, room setup, audio-visual requirements, and billing information.
Make reservations and ensure all reservations are accurately entered into Tripleseat, OpenTable and Resort Pass.
Support Hotel Private Events Coordinator with any minor issues or questions.
Coordinate with Bobs Events team on communication of departments to ensure maximum amount of productivity for group and private dining for Omni OKC.
Help grow the Event planning platform with menus and marketing.
Work closely with the F&B Team to establish appropriate food and beverage minimums and availability for private/group inquiries.
Collaborate with the Marketing and Sales teams to generate new business opportunities.
Assist FOH/BOH teams on various projects and assignments as needed.
Track and report group/private dining sales regularly.
Establish efficient tracking mechanisms for repeat business while supporting customer satisfaction
Help coordinate and organize lobby activations.
Analyze Medallia data to identify trends and opportunities within F&B outlets and communicate key findings to F&B leadership teams.
Attend AM and PM stand up. Complete profiles notes/ Medallia concerns when not assigned to specific F&B area or manager they are assigned to is unable to follow up.
Print resumes copies for F&B leadership as needed. Attend weekly resume meeting and then meet with ADOF&B to verify outlet hours of operation for upcoming week.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in reservation management systems (Tripleseat, OpenTable).
Ability to work collaboratively with various teams and departments.
Must be able to communicate via phone and radio as needed.
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
Has strong interpersonal skills and is customer service oriented
Must be able to stand and walk for an extended period of time for an entire shift.
Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 40 lbs without assistance.
Must be able to work flexible shifts including nights, weekend, and holidays.
ABLE and Food Handler certifications are required
