Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) - Internal Medicine Washington

Position Summary

The Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) prepares patient specimens as required for laboratory testing. 

As an MLT, you will:

• Perform laboratory tests and monitor test results to assure test quality and validity. 
• Communicate results in a timely manner, especially those that may be life threatening to the patient. 
• Maintain properly documented records of activities. 
• Clean and maintain laboratory equipment and environment. 
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• High School plus 2 years or more of formal training/education or higher (Specify: AAS Degree, Medical Laboratory Technician) 
   
• Less than 1 year of experience is required

Preferred:
 

• ASCP or equivalent certification 

Other Information

• 40 hours per week
• Monday - Friday (7:30 am - 5:30 pm)
• Rotational day offer per week
