
Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) - Internal Medicine Washington
Job Description
The Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) prepares patient specimens as required for laboratory testing.
As an MLT, you will:
- Perform laboratory tests and monitor test results to assure test quality and validity.
- Communicate results in a timely manner, especially those that may be life threatening to the patient.
- Maintain properly documented records of activities.
- Clean and maintain laboratory equipment and environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School plus 2 years or more of formal training/education or higher (Specify: AAS Degree, Medical Laboratory Technician)
- Less than 1 year of experience is required
Preferred:
- ASCP or equivalent certification
- 40 hours per week
- Monday - Friday (7:30 am - 5:30 pm)
- Rotational day offer per week
