Job Description

We are hiring a VP of Growth to build and scale Asurion’s growth team and engine from the ground up. Asurion services have a tremendous reach of over 200 million subscribers, and we are at the infliction of redefining our growth strategies as Asurion evolves from a device protection provider into the lifecycle technology care platform for connected home.

This leader will define and operationalize how Asurion acquires, monetizes, and retains customers across the entire lifecycle embedded in digital, retail, tech support, and partner channels. You will build a new growth function within the product organization and partner closely with commercial leadership, call-center and field operations leadership, and broader product development organization, turning everyday customer interactions into compounding growth opportunities.

What You’ll Do

  • Define and operationalize Asurion's first unified growth strategy spanning acquisition, monetization, and retention across the full customer lifecycle
  • Establish a unified, data-driven growth model across products, channels, and customer touchpoints, including emerging ones such as Answer Engine Optimization
  • Build, maintain and execute on a growth roadmap that is based on experimentation and A/B testing, leaning heavily on the scalable efficiencies of new AI tools and capabilities
  • Partner with product teams to integrate growth directly into customer-facing experiences (e.g., Asurion Tech Care application, Asurion.com and voice/bot customer engagement surfaces)
  • Drive upsell and cross-sell performance — including freemium-to-paid conversion, single-device to household expansion, and premium tier upgrade
  • Lead growth programs across existing partner channels, closely partnering with the channel leaders, commercial teams, and pricing function.
  • Design lifecycle engagement strategies across onboarding, value delivery, and retention
  • Build a culture and infrastructure for rapid experimentation (A/B testing, iteration loops)
  • Use data and insights to continuously improve growth performance and unit economics
  • Hire and develop a high-performing growth team across product, analytics, and lifecycle disciplines
  • Define operating models and cross-functional ways of working

Who You Are

  • 12+ years in growth, product, or digital roles — including 5+ years leading growth functions at meaningful scale in subscription or recurring revenue businesses
  • Deep experience with product-led growth, lifecycle management, and monetization strategies, subscription and membership models
  • B2B2C operating experience — understanding how to drive consumer outcomes through and alongside enterprise partner channels
  • Builder mentality — energized by ambiguity, capable of moving at speed without complete information, skilled at making decisions with imperfect data
  • Cross-functional integrator — able to operate as a genuine partner to Product, Engineering, Data, Client Success, Commercial and Operations
  • Strong hiring instinct — knows how to build a multi-disciplinary team, sequence headcount for maximum early impact, and develop people into senior roles
  • Hands-on experience with newly evolving AI-tooling and capabilities for growth playbooks
  • Proven ability to operate in complex, cross-functional environments and influence without direct ownership
  • Comfortable operating at both strategic and executional levels

  • Growth becomes a core, systematized capability embedded across Asurion’s products and experiences
  • Measurable improvements in customer acquisition and conversion, product attach rates and monetization, retention and lifetime value
  • New growth channels and segments contribute meaningfully to revenue
  • A high-performing growth team and operating model is established
