Job title:
In this role, you will leverage your clinical and technical expertise to drive the development and growth of Philips CT business strategies. You will play a key role in shaping the future of computed tomography technologies, working closely with development, clinical and marketing teams to drive innovation and development. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team of clinical, technical and business professionals working together to address key clinical needs and challenges in the area of medical imaging with focus on Computed tomography.
Your role:
As a Clinical development scientist, you will be responsible for overseeing the development of clinical systems features and workflow related to CT across global markets.
Your role:
- Specify high level and detailed User clinical requirements features and workflows.
- Escort R&D team throughout the development process including risk assessment, implementation support, validation, defect prioritization and clinical sites support
- Identify required research\ algorithmic needs, initiate activities and perform clinical evaluations.
- Contribute to the clinical roadmap of the product.
- Contribute to the enhancement of clinical understanding within the R&D department: provide training sessions, clinical updates, share customer insights and new developments.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Work closely with global teams such as clinical, sales, marketing, service, and customer support, to align on strategic goals, address customer needs, and ensure smooth execution of clinical systems-related activities.
- Collaborate with key opinion leaders and clinical partners to gather feedback and insights for continuous improvement.
- Regulatory Compliance: supporting the compliance with applicable regulatory standards and guidelines, such as FDA, CE, and other regional requirements, throughout the lifecycle of CT clinical systems in close collaboration with quality, regulatory and clinical affairs team.
You're the right fit if:
Relevant B.Sc/M.Sc in Biomedical Engineering/ Medical Science/ Software/ Information systems
At least 2-3 years’ experience in customer interaction/ product development position, preferably in Medical Imaging Systems and Computed tomography
At least 2-3 years’ experience creating clinical requirements specifications.
Experience in Radiology and Hospital workflows
Experience in Interventional workflows an advantage
Experience in Cardiology workflows an advantage
Excellent Presentation Skills
Ability to work in a global team with various disciplines
Aware of business interests and effects
Fluent in English
Willing to travel (2-4 times a year)
