CAD Designer

The GM CAD Designer’s role is to design parts in support of Product Development Engineers (PDE) for Hutchinson with the goal of efficiently designing/modeling part designs that meet GM and Hutchinson standards. Designers need to be proficient users of the CAD platform UGNX while applying knowledge of various product design & DFM standards for part assemblies made from rubber molding, plastic injection molding, casting, stamping, etc. The Designer will also manage all data submission/transfers with GM with their Teamcenter Portal following GM’s Data Management Requirements.
