What You Will Do

  • Manage the SIOP cycle (data collection, demand reviews, supply reviews, executive SIOP reviews and financial reconciliation) and all deliverables for a value stream or site

  • Deliver timely reporting and analysis of customer data to drive visibility, alignment and decisions across the business

  • Collaborate with Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Operations to align business strategies with operational capabilities and recommend plans that meet inventory and financial targets

  • Leverage data analytics and planning tools to optimize inventory by developing strategies to reduce excess

  • Supports executive level SIOP reporting, including Actuals, Latest Estimates, and Plans, supporting ELT and SLT decision-making

  • Serve as the primary data and analytics subject matter expert and technical lead for the SIOP process

  • Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency by following established data standards and validation checks

  • Takes ownership to align the consensus supply and demand plans established in the SIOP reviews while identifying and highlighting any gaps or risks

  • Creates strategy scenarios for the site / value stream

  • Multi-level cadence reviews within each site / value stream Collect all key points of data using the standardized site / value stream SIOP review template (in collaboration with Demand Planners, Master Schedulers, and Materials Managers) to prepare and facilitate

  • Connect demand, supply, inventory, supply chain, capacity, and critical business metrics to look at 90-day to 18-month (minimum) profile

  • Identify risks and opportunities to assist each site / value stream in planning inventory, overdue goals, and scenario planning

  • Lead the collection, validation, reconciliation, and reporting of executive metrics on monthly, quarterly, and annual cadences, including Sales Overdue, and racks metrics to drive results and continuous improvement

  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles by collecting, validating, and reconciling operational metrics.

  • Support the SBU Executive review, SIOP maturity across all sites, and alignment with Collins standard

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience  

  • Demonstrated proficiency in analytics-based reporting, including the use of Microsoft Excel or database management of large datasets.

  • Experience in inventory management.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
