Job Description
Job purpose
- To manage, develop and optimize the processes of all shipments required for customs clearance in RUHGTW.
- Management of the facility department, ensure adherence to all relevant quality standards. Ensure customs operational activities reach business (transit times), service & cost objective levels. Ensure legal compliance with customs regulations and review KPI on weekly basis, securing that appropriate corrective action is initiated.
- Work closely with senior management team of DHL Express and ensuring development both self and within the department. Actively lead, motivate, and engage people.
- Always ensure execution in the best interests of DHL customers and operational departments with DHL Express Network Ops and Effectively manage 3rd party provider staff and compliance as necessary.
- Execute effectively changes to legal compliance and keep strong relationships with authorities.
- Develop strong relationships with the customs authorities with a view to improve clearance capabilities and efficiencies.
Key tasks & accountabilities
- Communicate and forward strategic and essential information to all customs employees.
- Adapt and develop the business within the frame of the ongoing changes in the rules and regulations of Saudi Customs and GCC

- Keep track of KPIs and productivity and use this information to develop business regarding improve service quality and productivity.

- Clearance On Arrival – COA
- Bond Outstanding – BOS
- Customs Cost per Non-Doc Shipment.
- Non-Doc shipments Per Customs FTE (Per Day)
- Unauthorized releases
- Customs Fines & Penalties
