Local CDL Truck Driver Role Overview:

Schimberg Co. is hiring a professional Truck Driver to join our Woodbury location. We aren't just looking for a driver; we want a dedicated professional to be the face of our company. As a CDL Driver with us, you will deliver piping supplies within a 150-mile radius, ensuring our customers receive exceptional service. Local CDL Truck Driver Responsibilities:
● Safe Transport: Serve as a lead Truck Driver by operating pickup trucks, straight trucks, and flatbed semis safely.
● Delivery & Logistics: Ensure timely delivery of piping supplies with numerous stops as a professional CDL Truck Driver.
● Documentation: Maintain a detailed log of deliveries, including mileage and ticket numbers, for every CDL haul.
● Vehicle Maintenance: Act as a teacher of safety by performing pre- and post-trip inspections and reporting maintenance needs.
● Warehouse Support: Assist with loading/unloading materials and pulling orders to support the overall school of operations at Schimberg Co.
● Customer Service: Provide high-level assistance to customers during the loading and unloading process.
Local CDL Truck Driver Requirements
● License: Must hold a valid Class A CDL with air-brake and manual transmission endorsements.
● Safety Record: Proven record of competent driving with no alcohol-related convictions or major violations.
● Physicality: Physically demanding role requiring the ability to lift up to 100 lbs and remain on your feet.

● Certification: Must have a current DOT medical certificate.
● Experience: Previous driver experience is highly preferred, especially with forklifts and flatbed trailers.
