
Compliance Support Coordinator
Job Description
Benecard Companies is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance Coordinator to support enterprise-wide regulatory compliance across our pharmacy benefit management (PBM), pharmacy services, and vision operations.
Reporting to the Sr. Regulatory Compliance Analyst, this role plays a key part in ensuring compliance with state, federal, and contractual requirements, while supporting auditing, monitoring, risk mitigation, and regulatory change management initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
Regulatory Monitoring & Compliance Support
- Monitor, review, and interpret state and federal healthcare regulations impacting PBM, pharmacy, and vision operations
- Analyze regulatory updates and communicate compliance impacts and guidance to internal stakeholders
- Develop and maintain compliance documentation, including policies, procedures, manuals, and regulatory summaries
- Support implementation and ongoing updates of compliance programs aligned with laws, client requirements, and contracts
Risk Management & Issue Resolution
- Identify, assess, and track compliance risks and collaborate with stakeholders to develop mitigation strategies
- Review compliance inquiries and escalations, determine risk exposure, and recommend next steps
- Coordinate intake, investigation, and resolution of compliance issues, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up
- Monitor corrective action plans (CAPs) and remediation efforts
Audit, Monitoring & Oversight
- Assist with annual audit and monitoring work plans and coordinate assigned activities
- Support delegated entity and vendor oversight, including compliance reviews and issue tracking
- Maintain compliance tracking tools to ensure timely completion of obligations
- Analyze trends, performance indicators, and compliance metrics
Fraud, Waste & Abuse (FWA)
- Support FWA program initiatives, including detection, prevention, and reporting
- Assist in monitoring and documentation of potential FWA risks
Training, Communication & Reporting
- Provide guidance on regulatory requirements impacting operations and client commitments
- Assist with development and delivery of compliance training and education materials
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and summaries for Compliance Committees and leadership
- Coordinate compliance meetings and facilitate cross-functional collaboration
Operational & Cross-Functional Support
- Support client onboarding, product development, and regulatory change initiatives
- Collaborate with Legal, Operations, IT, HR, Sales, and Client Services
- Assist with regulatory filings, audits, and market conduct examinations
- Maintain organized compliance records for audit readiness
Qualifications:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) preferred
- Experience in healthcare, PBM, pharmacy, vision, or managed care environments preferred
- Background in regulatory compliance, quality improvement, or healthcare operations
- Experience with contracts, delegated entities, or vendor oversight is a plus
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance frameworks (PBM, CMS, state regulations preferred)
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and cross-functional projects
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project); SharePoint a plus
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
