Operating Room - Charge Nurse

The Team Leader assists with clinical supervision of patient care and job performance supervision of all employees on an assigned shift. They plan, coordinates and provides for optimum patient care on the unit. The Team Leader performs professional nursing services for patients with a variety of needs utilizing the nursing process and within the scope, ethics, and standards of practice as defined by the American Nurses Association and the California BRN Nurse Practice Act.
