Associate Scientist Neurology

Location: Cambridge, MA

Job Title: Neurology Associate Scientist 

Duration: 1 Year+ (Possible Extension)

Primary Duties 

• We seek a neuroscientist focused on neural regeneration and repair. 

• The candidate will join a highly productive and dynamic research team focused on the identification and development of novel therapeutics for the treatment of neurological disease. 

Qualification: 

• The successful candidate will have a detailed knowledge of neurobiology/neuroanatomy, must multitask in a collaborative environment, and have hands-on expertise in culturing primary neurons and oligodendrocytes, handling rat/mice, drug dosing, brain dissection, tissue sample preparation, immunohistochemistry, Western blotting, and diverse biological and biochemical techniques. 

Education: 

The successful candidate will have BS or Masters in Neuroscience or a related area with at least 5 years academic or industry experience in the field.
