  • Develop sector insights, including analysis of commodity cycles, supply chains, and macroeconomic trends impacting coverage
  • Assist in producing earnings previews/reviews, initiation reports, thematic deep-dives, and sector notes
  • Maintain a strong understanding of regional dynamics, ASEAN trade flows, and cross-border listings on SGX

Financial Modelling & Valuation

  • Build, maintain, and enhance detailed financial models for covered companies
  • Perform valuation analysis (DCF, comparables, sum-of-the-parts, NAV where relevant)
  • Maintain relative value frameworks and sector comp sheets

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Support responses to institutional client inquiries (internal and external)
  • Participate in client meetings, roadshows, conferences, and investor calls
  • Assist with organization of management meetings, site visits, and field trips

Communication & Publication

  • Contribute to high-quality written research outputs with clear investment theses and actionable recommendations
  • Collaborate closely with analysts, sales, and trading teams to deliver differentiated insights
  • Translate complex financial and industry data into clear, concise investment narratives

Risk & Compliance

  • Demonstrate strong awareness of compliance, regulatory, and reputational considerations
  • Adhere to all internal policies, safeguarding standards, and ethical guidelines
  • Escalate risks and ensure transparency in business practices

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field (CFA progress or charterholder preferred).
  • 3–8 years of relevant experience in equity research, investment banking, asset management, or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of SGX-listed companies and Singapore capital markets, with sector experience in Industrials, Materials, or Resources preferred.
  • Advanced financial modelling, accounting, and valuation skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Bloomberg, FactSet (or similar platforms).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex information into clear insights.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple deliverables under tight deadlines.
  • Strong work ethic, intellectual curiosity, and collaborative mindset.
  • Fluency in English required; Mandarin is a plus given regional corporate and client interaction.
