
Clinic Behavioral Health Therapist - EMDR and Trauma - Hybrid
Job Description
Essential Job Function
- Conducts psychosocial assessments to better understand a patient's diagnosis, illness, or treatment through investigating emotional, social, and environmental factors.
- Designs and implements behavioral health treatment plans to help patients return to optimal functioning.
- Maintains knowledge of and relationships with community health and social agencies to expand the behavioral health services available to patients via collaboration or referral.
- Educates the patient and family on behavioral health treatment care processes and options to inspire confidence and continue recovery once discharged.
- Documents patient care and treatment response with accuracy and timeliness in medical records to monitor recovery process.
- Advocates for patients during the provision of care to manage potential ethical concerns or other risks.
- Leverages their experience to review the work of junior colleagues and provide guidance when necessary.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education
- Required: Masters or Doctorate in Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling
Experience
- Required: 2 years of clinical experience
Licensure/Certification/Listing
- Required: One or more of the following licensures: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Psychologist (PhD or PsyD), Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC), Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) Supervisor, License Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS)
