Main Responsibilities
Working Relationships
- Internal – Business unit head, research mid-management, research executive, supervisor or other departments relevant managers and staff
- External – Key contact person with key accounts and regular projects coordinator
Job Description
- Maintain long-term business relationship with existing clients
- Lead and manage a team of researchers, including recruitment, job allocation, performance management and coaching
- Manage research projects, and provide professional client servicing
- Write winning research proposal and present to clients
- Provide advanced research analysis and add-value insights and recommendations
- Write research report and make presentation to clients
- Be actively involved in business plan and organization development
- Be actively involved in marketing activities and events, ie. Client Seminar, Professional Conference, Public Speech, etc.
- The Research Director will be expected to contribute to departmental or team targets by Having overall responsibility for all of the annual targets; Mentoring RM's and below (business development, account handling, research projects); Developing new accounts or sectors and business
Job Requirements
- Bachelor or above Degree
- At least 10 years work experience in market research, preferred in international research agencies
- Solid understanding and insight of marketing and business management
- Strong and broad research methodology and specific technology skills on market research
- Deep insight and analysis on specific industry
- Fluent in English and Mandarin
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in office software and skillful in statistics tools, such as SPSS, SAS etc
- Strong client servicing, business development and negotiation skills
- Strong people management and leadership skills
- Strong time and project control and management skills
- Skillful and efficient in problems solving
- Team oriented, logical and insightful thinking and be willing to work under pressure
- Trust worthy and loyalty
- Confident, initiative and be brave to undertake responsibilities
- Self-motivated, full of passion, and inspire morale of the team
