Job Description

We are looking for a Case Review Analyst for a full-time, long-term opportunity that is onsite in Newark, DE. As the Case Review Analyst, you will review cases completed by case workers determining benefit eligibility, document errors, and provide detailed feedback regarding cases.

What You’ll Do

  • Strong working knowledge of Federal laws, rules, regulations, standards, and State Policy related to how the public assistance programs are administered by the Division of Social Services

  • Investigate and document constituent complaints

  • Identify fraud or abuse in the public assistance programs, and know how to report it appropriately

  • Review cases completed by case workers determining benefit eligibility

  • Document errors and provide detailed feedback regarding cases

  • Provide details regarding training opportunities based on error trends to management

  • Maintain confidentiality in all situations

  • Communicate with clients regarding their case as necessary

  • Provide answers to questions from Case Workers regarding cases at hand

  • Any further duties assigned by management

What You’ll Need

Required:

  • Minimum of one year case management or processing programs of assistance for State government experience

  • Minimum of one year determining compliance with State and Federal laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures, or related experience

  • Microsoft Office Suite

  • Data Entry experience

  • Attention to Detail

  • Outstanding organizational skills

  • Good analytical skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Well organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Solid interpersonal skills, ability to work on a team

  • Ability to drive work to completion and escalate when necessary

  • Team oriented individuals that want to make a difference in the community

  • Transportation to/from office, dependable and on time

  • Be available to work a minimum of one Saturday a month if necessary

Preferred:

  • Strong written and verbal bilingual communication skills

  • OnBase experience

Physical Demands

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards

  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor

$20 per hour

The pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
