This role will sit within the Innovalve team, as part of Edwards’ transcatheter mitral and tricuspid therapies (TMTT) product group. Innovalve Bio Medical Ltd. was acquired by Edwards in July 2024, enhancing the company’s transcatheter mitral valve replacement (TMVR) technologies to address large unmet structural heart patient needs and support sustainable long-term growth. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of innovative delivery systems that will revolutionize the treatment of cardiovascular diseases.
How you will make an impact:
Develop imaging protocols to support new procedures and devices
Resolve clinical and technical problems related to the safe and effective use of the product
Provide design inputs alongside anatomical expertise in current and new devices
Design and execute simulated-use, design validation and human factors engineering testing to obtain device evaluation and user feedback
Write technical reports based on multiple testing
Plan and conduct pre-clinical experiments within ex and in vivo environment
Imaging support for pre-clinical studies
Develop procedural aspects and training material through all phases of product lifecycle
Collaborate with Health care provider (HCPs) & Key opinion leaders (KOLs) in developing new SHD devices and procedures
Collaborating with imaging companies to develop and accommodate device
and procedure requirements in structural heart field to enhance current and future products performance
What you’ll need:
Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering or life sciences field or Mechanical engineering or Certified clinical specialist with B.A.
7+ years of experience in medical device
High self-learning ability
Strong execution, communication and interpersonal relationship
Technical oriented skills
Basic understanding of statistical techniques
Proficiency in English and Hebrew
Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, Creo, or similar).
Able to travel abroad (US and Europe) 10-15%
Experience in SHD procedures and devices
Previous related experience in Class II and III medical device technologies and/or clinical studies background
Wide knowledge and understanding of imaging modalities as CT, Fluoroscopy and echocardiography
