Post Doctoral Psychology Associate

Join our clinician-centered multidisciplinary team in the Georgetown neighborhood of Washington, DC, and grow your career alongside counselors, social workers, and psychologists. We are seeking full-time DC Licensed Psychology Associate, which is the post-graduate designation for a psychologist obtaining the final requirements in order to be independently licensed. Paid supervision is included. 

We value clinicians who enjoy collaboration, bring a sense of humor to their work, and are committed to serving clients from diverse backgrounds. 


Responsibilities

  • Maintain a caseload of approximately 25 client sessions per week. 
  • Conduct diagnostic assessments and develop treatment plans. 
  • Opportunity to complete psychological assessments for interested applicants, with therapy caseload expectations adjusted accordingly 
  • Complete clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment updates. 
  • Provide high-quality, client-centered care. 
  • Coordinate services with other providers as needed. 
  • Attend clinical meetings, trainings, and case consultation groups. 

Additional Opportunities

  • Participate in community outreach, networking events, and presentations. 
  • Contribute content for social media and educational initiatives.

Qualifications 

  • Doctoral Degree in Psychology  
  • Active DC license, or license-eligible, as a psychology associate and able to practice under board-approved supervision. 
  • Experience with assessments, treatment planning, and clinical documentation. 
  • Commitment to LGBTQIA+ affirming, culturally responsive care. 
  • Dedication to lifelong learning, cultural humility, and ethical practice. 
  • Bilingual clinicians are strongly encouraged to apply.
