Help us raise the expectation of what an agriculture company can be and grow your career with Nutrien.

The Soil Microbiologist is primarily a hands-on laboratory scientist who conducts experiments related to the effects of natural and synthetic soil amendments on soil microbial processes related to soil fertility and crop growth; contributes to the safety and science output of a working soils laboratory which uses a wide variety of raw materials; interacts with product development teams and their leaders; and is accountable for tightly focused research which helps develop products with clearly demonstrated mechanisms which drive our company’s business growth. The soil microbiologist is expected to possess skills that blend molecular lab skills, field sampling techniques, and a deep understanding of nutrient cycling, soil health, and microbial ecology.
