We are seeking a Laboratory Associate to join IQVIA Laboratories at Valencia, CA.

Job Summary:

Responsible for performing routine laboratory testing procedures to generate accurate data for use in clinical trials research. This role is based onsite in Valencia, CA and follows a Tuesday through Saturday shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

What You'll Be Doing:

Perform routine analysis of specimens and document results according to SOPs and regulatory guidelines
Evaluate analytical results against system-generated algorithms and defined acceptance criteria
Identify atypical results or errors and escalate to senior laboratory personnel
Prepare buffers, reagents, and solutions required for laboratory analysis
Maintain proper post-analysis storage of samples and reagents
Assist in maintaining laboratory organization in alignment with 6S standards
Communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders and notify staff of supply shortages

What We Are Looking For:

High School Diploma or equivalent required
6 months relevant lab experience require OR Equivalent combination of education, training and experience required
Basic knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and applicable regulatory standards
Knowledge of laboratory equipment, instrumentation, and analytical techniques
Other Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree

The Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Needed for This Role:

Basic knowledge of laboratory safety procedures, infection control, and hazardous material handling
Ability to maintain accurate documentation and manage workflow effectively
Strong collaboration and communication skills with internal stakeholders

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, frequent standing and walking, occasional sitting, close eye work requirement (computer, typing, reading small prints). Physical demands vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks. Occasional exposure to cold temperatures.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $34,700.00 - $72,300.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
