EdgeConneX is seeking a driven and experienced Human Resources Coordinator to join our team in Amsterdam (Schiphol-Rijk). As a key member of the HR team, the Human Resources Coordinator will play a pivotal role in supporting the organization's objectives by providing comprehensive HR support to employees across EMEA. This position reports to the Human Resources Generalist, EMEA and is based in the Netherlands.
Main Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute local onboarding processes across our 13 EMEA jurisdictions, ensuring a consistent and compliant experience for new hires.
- Manage day-to-day employee administration, including maintaining accurate employee records and handling employee queries in a timely manner.
- Prepare and issue candidate contracts, ensuring alignment with local legal requirements and agreed terms.
- Support intern and graduate recruitment by managing screening, interview scheduling, and end-to-end follow-through of the internship process.
- Assist the HR Generalist with compliance activities across EMEA jurisdictions, including coordination with Occupational Health providers (e.g. Mensura in Belgium, ArboNed in the Netherlands) and other local statutory requirements.
- Support immigration-related processes, including IND notifications and 30% ruling filings in coordination with external partners and with time, independently.
- Provide administrative support for benefits programmes across EMEA, including coordination of renewals and implementation logistics.
- Collaborate with the HR Generalist EMEA on maintaining and updating job descriptions to reflect business needs and local market requirements.
- Support ad hoc HR projects and initiatives.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Degree in Human Resources, Psychology or relevant field
- Knowledge of Dutch employment laws and regulations, other European jurisdictions are a plus.
- 2+ years in a similar role, with focus on the Netherlands.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Fluent in both Dutch and English, other European languages are a plus
- Ability to commute at least 3 times a week to our office in Schiphol-Rijk.
