This is a critical role in establishing Bristol-Myers Squibb as a leader in Neuroscience and our commitment to supporting the efforts of Neuroscience Healthcare Providers in improving patient outcomes.

The Associate Director, Key Accounts – Neuroscience is a field-based strategic leader responsible for driving enterprise account strategy, access, and adoption across complex health systems and Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs). This role serves as the accountable owner and quarterback for assigned strategic accounts—aligning cross-functional teams to deliver seamless execution, optimize system-level access, and accelerate the adoption of COBENFY. The Associate Director partners with executive stakeholders across clinical, operational, and financial disciplines to influence decision-making and deliver measurable business outcomes. This is a highly visible role requiring strong executive presence, enterprise leadership, and the ability to navigate complex healthcare systems to improve patient access and outcomes.  This is a field-based role reporting to the Director, Hospital Key Accounts – Neuroscience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep, strategic understanding of assigned health systems, including customer objectives, stakeholder ecosystems, market dynamics, and decision-making processes, translating insights into actionable account strategies that drive access, adoption, and measurable outcomes in the Neuropsychiatry space

  • Drive optimal formulary access and positioning by leading P&T strategy, advocating for inclusion on clinical pathways and protocols, and proactively addressing barriers to adoption

  • Own and lead the development and execution of integrated, cross-functional account plans, aligning internal matrix stakeholders and resources to deliver coordinated, high-impact engagement across hospital systems and IDNs

  • Serve as the primary BMS Neuroscience point of contact for executive stakeholders, building and sustaining trusted relationships across C and D suite, pharmacy, finance, clinical, and operational leadership

  • Lead strategic discussions on reimbursement, health system economics, and value-based care, leveraging clinical and economic evidence to articulate and advance the value proposition of COBENFY

  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including Market Access, Medical, Sales, and Health IT, to ensure alignment and execution of initiatives such as protocol integration, EMR/EHR updates, and operational initiatives

  • Analyze market data and account-level insights to identify opportunities, prioritize actions, and optimize strategy in response to evolving healthcare trends and system dynamics

  • Identify and address customer pain points and operational inefficiencies, collaborating with stakeholders to develop solutions that improve patient access, streamline care delivery, and enhance system performance

  • Ensure effective communication and implementation of system-level decisions across affiliated accounts to drive consistency in strategy and execution

  • Operate in full compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and BMS policies, while maintaining the highest standards of integrity, ethics, and patient-centricity

  • Maintain a high level of field engagement (>80%) to effectively support account strategy execution and stakeholder partnership

Qualifications & Experience

  • BS/BA degree required

  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or health system environments, with a strong focus on hospital and IDN engagement

  • Demonstrated expertise in U.S. healthcare systems, including provider, payer, and integrated delivery network dynamics, with direct experience in hospital and acute care settings

  • Deep knowledge of market access and health system strategy, including formulary management, P&T processes, reimbursement models, pathways and protocol development, and EMR/EHR integration

  • Proven track record of driving business growth, access, and adoption through effective account management, strategic execution, and consistently delivering against performance objectives

  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior and executive-level stakeholders, including C-suite, pharmacy, finance, and clinical leadership, across complex health systems

  • Strong capability to lead in a matrix environment, mobilizing cross-functional teams and driving execution without direct authority

  • Advanced strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable business strategies

  • Excellent communication and executive presence, with strong presentation and stakeholder engagement skills

  • Demonstrated leadership ability, including navigating complex internal and external environments and building high-impact networks

  • Experience in psychiatry, neuropsychiatry, or related therapeutic areas preferred; prior experience in sales, market access, or marketing roles strongly desired
