Job Description
Equipment Engineer/wet etching (m/f/x)
At our Erfurt site, within the Equipment Engineering department (Team Wet/MWP), we are looking for a new team member (m/f/d) to join us at the earliest possible date. This position will support the team on a limited basis and relieve colleagues who are currently involved in the Fab4Micro project.
Your Responsibilities
You will take full technical ownership of the equipment in your assigned area and ensure reliable and efficient operations:
- Ensure the technical availability of equipment and systems
- Perform and document planned maintenance, servicing, and repair work
- Obtain quotations, place orders, and define minimum stock levels for spare and wear parts
- Maintain, adapt, and continuously improve maintenance procedures
- Create procedures, guidelines, and work instructions
- Analyze equipment failures (e.g., Pareto analysis) and initiate as well as monitor corrective actions
In addition, you will:
- Execute, supervise, and document equipment conversions and new installations
- Contribute to projects and optimization initiatives in close collaboration with Process Engineering

Your Profile
- Completed university or technical college degree (e.g., Bachelor’s degree) in Mechatronics
or at least 5 years of professional experience in a position classified in group 7 or 8 - Proven experience in the maintenance of complex production equipment
- Very good German and good English language skills
- High level of resilience, reliability, and a structured way of working
