Join our Pressure Systems R&D team, responsible for developing fittings and regulating valves that ensure the safe transport of drinking water from the source to the end user. In this role, you will develop new products and solutions for the pressure management range and manage technical life cycle activities for allocated products.
Development Engineer for Pressure Systems (m/f/d)
Your tasks:
- Developing new products and product improvements based on customer needs, market requirements, and technical specifications, while balancing functionality, quality, cost, and time-to-market
- Designing and developing components, assemblies, and prototypes using CAD software (Siemens NX)
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation, design records, specifications, drawings, and test reports
- Supporting the continuous improvement and technical lifecycle management of the existing product portfolio
- Planning, coordinating, and executing verification and validation activities, including prototype design, test setup definition, and functional testing
- Analyzing test data, deriving technical conclusions, and implementing findings into the final product design
Your profile:
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, materials engineering, plastics engineering, or a comparable technical discipline
- At least 5 years of experience in an R&D, product development, or engineering environment
- Experience in the development of mechanical components or fluid-handling products; experience with valves, fittings, pressure systems, or plastic components is an advantage
- Good CAD skills, preferably with Siemens NX
- Experience with simulation, data analysis, or MATLAB is an asset
- A proactive mindset with the ability to take initiative, assume ownership, and drive topics forward independently
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with a hands-on approach to prototype testing and validation
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional and international teams
- Professional-level English and German language skills
