Job Summary
The Product Manager, Business Banking is responsible for the strategy, design, and ongoing management of products and capabilities supporting Indirect Lending, Business Member Services and Business Lending, Mountain America Credit Union.This role serves as the product owner for assigned solutions, managing the full product lifecycle including strategy development, prioritization, delivery, and performance optimization. The Product Manager partners cross-functionally to deliver scalable, compliant, and member-focused solutions that support growth, operational efficiency, and risk alignment.

SCHEDULE

To be effective, an individual must be able to perform each job duty successfully define and execute product strategy and roadmap aligned to business banking and enterprise priorities.
- Own the full product lifecycle from discovery and business case development through delivery and ongoing optimization.
- Translate business needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and prioritized backlogs.
- Partner cross-functionally with Business Banking, Lending, Operations, Risk, Technology, and Data teams to deliver solutions.
- Collaborate with Data and Analytics teams to define data requirements, validate insights, and enable effective reporting.
- Leverage data analytics tools and dashboards to assess performance, identify trends, and inform decision-making.
- Define and monitor key performance indicators for product growth, utilization, efficiency, and risk.
- Prioritize enhancements that improve member experience, scalability, and operational effectiveness.
- Ensure product alignment with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and risk frameworks.
- Communicate product roadmap, priorities, and performance clearly to stakeholders and senior leadership.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES

Experience
- 6 years of experience in product management with 3 of those years owning or supporting product lifecycle activities including strategy, delivery and performance organization.
- Working with product management in a financial service, lending, or a related field - preferred.
- Experience using data, reporting, and analytics to inform product decisions, measure outcomes, and identify opportunities for improvement.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, technology, or related field OR three additional years combined experience in a progressive product management setting.
Licenses, Certifications, Registrations
Certified Product Manager Certification preferred.
Computer and Technology Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint), with the capability to automate tasks and generate executive-level insights.
- Fluent in using data visualization and reporting platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for real-time analytics, product insight, and decision support.
- Experience leveraging AI-driven analytics and machine learning to enhance product performance, forecasting, and customer insights.
- Strong skills in interpreting data across multiple systems, including cloud-based solutions and APIs.
- Proficient in project management technology tools (e.g., Agile, Azure DevOps) and digital product environments, with ability to document requirements and process flows using standard platforms (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart) for monitoring performance and customer outcomes.
Language Skills
- Demonstrated ability to clearly express ideas, methodology, results and recommendations verbally, in writing and through insightful reports and graphic illustrations
- Demonstrated ability to document outcomes and present information in a manner appropriate for key stakeholders and all levels of the organization.
Other Skills and Abilities
- Solid understanding of product management practices, including product lifecycle, delivery, and continuous optimization.
- Working knowledge of business banking, lending products, and related systems (preferred).
- Ability to translate business needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and actionable priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to use data and analytics to inform decision-making, measure outcomes, and drive product improvements.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, dashboards, or visualization platforms) with the ability to interpret, validate, and apply data insights.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders across varying levels, teams, and communication styles.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, balance competing demands, and execute with a high degree of independence.
- Proven problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset to identify opportunities, improve processes, and enhance efficiency.
- Understanding performance measurement, including defining and tracking KPIs, tied to growth, utilization, efficiency, and member experience.
- Ability to contribute to product outcomes that support business growth, operational effectiveness, and service delivery.
