As an Casual Security Guard, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment across the aerodrome and terminal areas while supporting daily operations and emergency response.

Hourly wage: $20.82/hour
Training rate: $16.35/hour - 24 hours of paid training
Casual / On-Call position with potential for full-time advancement

Responsibilities for Casual Security Guard

Control access to restricted areas of the aerodrome
Conduct patrols of the aerodrome and terminal apron
Enforce traffic regulations both groundside and airside
Respond to and assist with emergency situations on airport property
Perform additional duties as assigned by the on-duty supervisor
Monitor the premises to ensure the security

Qualifications for Security Guard

Be authorized to work in Canada
Valid Driver’s License
Basic First Aid certification
Ability to obtain a RAIC (Restricted Area Identity Card) and Transport Canada (TC) security clearance in a timely manner
Ability to obtain an AVOP (Airside Vehicle Operator’s Permit) in a timely manner
Availability for on-call shifts, including extended hours
