What You Get to Do as a Shop Technician:
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Toyota material handling equipment and all other makes of forklifts, pallet jacks, and other industrial equipment at the shop
- Perform necessary equipment performance and diagnostic tests, interpreting results independently to complete repairs
- Deliver exceptional customer service by ensuring repairs meet the highest quality standards
- Maintain open communication with service managers, parts department, and dispatchers to expedite repairs and service
- Accurately account for labor hours, parts used, and all service-related paperwork
- Keep the shop environment safe, clean, and organized
What Qualities You Need to be a Successful Shop Technician:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3-5+ years of experience as a mechanic or technician in the industrial, automotive, or similar industry required
- Heavy line experience required, including engine rebuilds, transmission rebuilds, etc.
- Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs., and perform pushing, pulling, twisting, bending, and kneeling
- Willingness to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
