
Vice President of Logistics, Fulfillment, and Ecommerce
Job Description
The Vice President of Logistics, Fulfillment and Ecommerce is responsible for leading the company’s logistics, fulfillment, inventory flow, and supply operations capabilities across a growing portfolio of franchise brands.
Reporting to the CFO, this executive will oversee the efficient, scalable, and cost-effective movement of equipment, retail products, and operational materials across domestic and international markets. The role is responsible for driving operational excellence across logistics, distribution, fulfillment, inventory operations, and ecommerce fulfillment activities while supporting a high-quality franchisee and customer experience across the network.
The VP will partner closely with Product Line Management, Finance, Franchise Operations, Technology, Marketing, and external vendor partners to improve service levels, optimize cost-to-serve, strengthen operational visibility, and build scalable operational infrastructure aligned with the company’s growth objectives.
This leader will bring a pragmatic, hands-on leadership approach and help evolve processes, systems, vendor relationships, and team capabilities within a lean and growth-oriented operating environment.
Purpose/Impact: (Duties & Essential Functions)
Logistics, Fulfillment & Ecommerce Operations
Lead all logistics, fulfillment, warehousing, transportation, and inventory flow operations across the organization’s portfolio of brands.
Oversee operational support for ecommerce and direct-to-consumer fulfillment activities, ensuring timely, accurate, and cost-effective order execution.
Ensure reliable and efficient delivery of equipment, merchandise, and operational materials to franchisees, studios, customers, and business partners.
Oversee domestic and international logistics operations, including freight management, customs coordination, and trade compliance activities.
Lead reverse logistics processes, including returns, repairs, and recovery workflows.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on service performance, operational scalability, fulfillment accuracy, delivery experience, and lowest cost-to-serve.
Establish operational KPIs, SLA governance, and reporting processes to improve visibility, accountability, and execution across the logistics and fulfillment network.
Inventory, Purchasing & Supply Operations
Partner with Product Line Management, Marketing, and Finance on inventory planning, replenishment strategies, forecasting, promotional readiness, and operational execution.
Lead purchasing and procurement activities for key equipment, merchandise, and operational supplies, ensuring cost efficiency, supplier performance, and continuity of supply.
Optimize inventory positioning, purchasing strategies, inventory productivity, working capital performance, and operational efficiency while maintaining high service standards.
Support new studio openings, product launches, ecommerce initiatives, equipment deployments, and other growth initiatives through effective operational planning and execution.
Monitor and improve operational workflows, inventory movement, purchasing processes, and distribution performance across multiple product categories and brands.
Vendor, Purchasing & Partner Management
Lead relationships with third-party logistics providers, freight carriers, fulfillment partners, and key suppliers and purchasing vendors.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, service expectations, and performance standards across logistics, fulfillment, and purchased goods/services.
Manage third-party logistics partners and suppliers against defined service-level agreements and operational KPIs.
Evaluate opportunities to improve cost structure, purchasing efficiency, service performance, scalability, and operational capabilities through external partnerships and technology-enabled solutions.
Cross-Functional Leadership
Collaborate closely with Product Line Management to align operational execution with product strategy and lifecycle management.
Partner with Marketing and ecommerce stakeholders to support promotional initiatives, product launches, and customer delivery expectations.
Partner with Franchise Operations and Brand Leadership to support franchisee success and operational consistency across the network.
Work closely with Finance on budgeting, forecasting, inventory reporting, purchasing spend management, and cost optimization initiatives.
Partner with Technology teams to improve operational reporting, systems utilization, process efficiency, and scalability.
Serve as the organization’s senior operational leader for logistics, fulfillment, distribution, ecommerce operations, and purchasing execution.
Team Leadership
Lead, develop, and mentor a high-performing logistics, fulfillment, and purchasing organization within a lean, fast-paced, and evolving environment.
Foster a culture of accountability, responsiveness, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Build organizational capability and scalable operational processes aligned with company growth objectives.
Strengths and Background
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
10+ years of progressive leadership experience in logistics, fulfillment, supply operations, purchasing, procurement, or related operational functions.
Experience in franchise, multi-unit, retail, consumer products, fitness, wellness, or similarly distributed operating environments preferred.
Strong experience managing domestic and international logistics operations, third-party logistics providers, ecommerce fulfillment operations, purchasing/procurement processes, and fulfillment networks.
Experience with transportation management, warehousing, inventory operations, trade compliance, reverse logistics, and supplier management.
Demonstrated success improving operational performance, service levels, freight economics, purchasing efficiency, and cost efficiency.
Strong analytical, financial, and operational acumen, including budgeting, purchasing spend management, and operational cost management experience.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders across multiple functions and organizational levels.
Executive presence with a pragmatic, hands-on leadership style.
Comfortable operating within a dynamic, fast-paced, and growth-oriented organization.

Salary Range: $210k - $235k with 20% Bonus
