Commodity Manager

TITLE: Commodity Manager EMPLOYER: Linde Engineering North America LLC LOCATION: The Woodlands, TX DUTIES: Responsible for the sourcing, qualification, commercialization, and supplier development of assigned Electrical Equipment Commodities supporting industrial plant applications. Procure equipment, materials, engineering, and services for business clients from approved suppliers in a timely manner by utilizing frame agreements or sources at the lowest evaluated cost and delivery. Solicit and analyze quotations, select successful supplier, and complete purchases within set levels of authority. Responsible for the identification, registration, and qualification of new sources for accountable Materials Groups to complete qualification in Ariba SLP. Maintain and update existing supplier qualifications for LENA Electrical Equipment suppliers carried over but not yet integrated into Ariba SLP. Follow procurement standards and quality systems and focus on compliance with procurement work processes. Supporting Linde Engineering Americas (LEA) by being responsible for supplier relationships and global reporting for the Motor suppliers in the assigned region. TRAVEL REQTS:10% of domestic and international travel required.
