Job Description

Department:  Information Technology 
Reports to:  Executive Director Technology Infrastructure

Position Summary: This position oversees and manages all help-desk support services for Tempe Union High School District and all of its site locations by monitoring the ticket system and working with support personnel to ensure that Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are being met. This includes but is not limited to customer support and quality assurance. The IT User Support Supervisor will work with IT Engineers and departments to coordinate projects and other non-ticketed requests.

Training and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field and five to seven years' equivalent work experience.
  • Two or more years of work experience in providing IT support.
  • Experience with desktop and server operating systems including Windows XP, Windows 7 and MAC OS.
  • Previous experience with SLAs and Quality Assurance processes.
  • Proven record of accomplishments in managing teams across multiple locations.
  • Dedication to organizational improvement and excellence.
  • Experience working with metrics or balanced scorecards.
  • Stays current with new and evolving instructional technologies via formal training and self-directed education
  • Works independently and serves as a resource to others.

 
FLSA Status:  Exempt Position

Salary Placement: Appropriate placement on the Classified Non-Exempt Salary Schedule
