About The Division:
The Taxpayer Services Division houses ones of the agency’s call center. This position will be responsible for providing support to the Division director as well as support to the Taxpayer Services Division’s activities relating to human resources, training, and budget. We are for an individual that has experience in human resources and other support activities, as well as excellent organizational and customer service expertise.
Employee Eligibility Criteria
Employees new to the division, including transferees from other divisions within the agency, are not eligible for telework for the first 30 calendar days. After the 30 days, management will evaluate whether the new employee is eligible to telework.
Work Hours
Monday through Friday, 40 hours a week with occasional evening, weekend hours and holidays. Hours may change based on business need.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
· Graduation from an accredited high school or successful completion of the General Education Development Test (GED) is required.
Experience:
· Four (4) years of experience providing support to mid- or high level managers, including administrative coordination, analytical work, and handling confidential operational tasks.
· Extensive experience using Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on advanced Excel skills such as creating complex spreadsheets, using formulas and functions, performing data analysis, generating reports, and maintaining accurate records; plus, experience writing and editing professional correspondence.
Substitutions
Education requirement may be substituted with up to four (4) years of related experience.

In this role you will:
· Performs program and administrative activities for Taxpayer Services Division. Provides direct administrative support and technical assistance to the Director. Supports Division operations, disseminating information and maintaining filing systems. Serves as the Division HR Liaison, preparing personnel action forms, personnel request forms, and with guidance from Human Resources, assists Division management in the hiring process. Provides timekeeping and payroll-related support to the Division. This includes processing of special leave forms (Leave without pay, sick leave pool, extended leave pool, bereavement, jury duty, and FMLA). Serves as the Division Training coordinator, which includes coordinating and tracking the Division’s mandatory and agency training. Assists in creating schedules for Internal training, and tracks and reports outcomes.
· Reviews program area functions and operations, identifies areas needing change, and develops plans to improve programs or to address areas of concerns. Assists with the coordination of Division Security and Support Services on building issues. Assists in the development and preparation of the Division’s disaster Recovery Plan. Serves as back-up for the Division travel coordinator, assists in providing purchasing and budget support to the Division, completion of monitoring performance reports and LBB statistical reporting.
· Reviews and documents section processes and procedures or improved processes and procedures and assisting with the implementation of approved recommendation. Other duties as assigned.
