Job Description
onsemi located in Mountain Top, PA is seeking a motivated individual to join their facilities team. The Utility Associate/Facilities Assistant will support the day-to-day operations of the facility. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, shipping/receiving, janitorial and site/lawn maintenance services, conduct and maintain building inventories.

Shift:
- 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday
Responsibilities:
- Team participation and team approach to problem solving will be expected of all individuals covered by the collective bargaining agreement
- Cleans areas of the factory, maintain grounds, and perform other duties as directed.
- Clears sidewalks and drives of snow and spread salt and cinders on slippery surfaces.
- May receive, verify, move, deliver, ship, and maintain inventory records, parts, equipment, furniture, office supplies, and products, which may require the use of hand and power operated equipment.
- May load and unload carriers and verify incoming shipments for conformity to packing slips and waybills.
- May pick up product, materials, and shipments at various plant areas and deliver to areas of the plant.
- May perform additional material handling assignments such as packing product for shipment, crating and disposal of waste materials, stocking and palletizing.
- May receive, handle, store, deliver, and maintain a diversified range of chemicals. May mix and prepare chemical compounds and solutions according to written instructions.
- Delivers chemicals to proper plant destinations to fill orders and maintain inventories of chemical stock in assigned areas.
- Must be aware of and conform to safety standards and precautions including the wearing of the proper safety equipment as prescribed by the area -- maintaining a safe working condition/environment.
- May load and unload carriers and transport goods to designated mixing and storage areas by means of conventional material handling equipment.
- May segregate, arrange and store chemical stock items in specific areas, and maintain records of chemicals received and stored.
- May collect and properly dispose of waste chemicals.
- By virtue of their job responsibilities, is required to be a member of the HAZMAT team and participate in the required Hazmat training. Must be able to properly use a respirator. Also may be required to participate in hazardous waste handling and hazardous waste shipping training, along with other appropriate related training, if applicable to current job tasks.
- Obtains and maintains all required skill certifications.
- Is responsible for maintaining clean room protocols.
- Uses quality techniques in performance of assigned tasks.
- Replenishes supplies and maintains equipment in good order.
- Empties waste cans or other receptacles and disposes of as trash or recyclable materials.
- Maintains a clean and orderly work area.
- May perform other duties as assigned by management.
- May be required to aid in the training of new or lesser skilled employee
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Must attain acceptable scores, as determined by management, on pre-screening exams.
- Job requires extensive standing and walking.
- Must be able to stand, stoop and reach for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds over the head
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and frequently move it over extended distances
- Must be able to push/pull typically about 100 lbs, but up to 500 lbs via rolling cart or rolling wire rack.
- Must have sufficient hand manipulation and ability to grasp frequently during shift.
