Logistics Support Specialist/Advisor (Food and Fuel)

The Logistics Support Specialist/Advisor (Food and Fuel) provides expert-level logistical and transportation support to the U.S. Department of State and other government entities operating in Iraq. As the mission’s fuel subject matter expert, the advisor manages fuel allocations, vendor coordination, and reporting, while also supporting food distribution logistics and warehousing analysis. This role involves regular liaison with Iraqi ministries, contractors, and U.S. military logistics sections to ensure uninterrupted delivery of critical supplies. The advisor also monitors transportation trends, resolves contract issues, and supports daily Embassy distribution operations, including convoy movement, personnel vetting, and checkpoint coordination.
