Bank Accounting Manager
Job Description
We are looking for a Bank Accounting Manager to join our centralized Accounting department. In this role, you will oversee the accurate and timely processing of bank-related transactions for Lithuanian, Polish, Latvian, Spanish, Netherlands and German entities, ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting standards. The role includes leading a team of 7 bank accounts, ensuring efficient task allocation, team development, and supporting financial reporting processes.
What can you expect your day to look like?
- Lead and manage the bank accounting team (7 employees), including task allocation, performance management, and development.
- Oversee daily recording and reconciliation of bank transactions across multiple accounts.
- Ensure timely and accurate bank reconciliations and resolution of discrepancies.
- Monitor cash movements and ensure proper accounting treatment.
- Collaborate with treasury, AP, AR, and other finance teams to ensure alignment and accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and accounting standards.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
- Assist with audits by providing required documentation and explanations
What do we expect from you?
- At least 3 years of experience in accounting. Experience working in a group of companies or a shared services environment - is an advantage.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities. At least 1 year of experience in leading or supervising accounting teams.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced and changing environment.
- High sense of responsibility, ability to effectively organize time
- Strong Excel skills. Experience in SAP or Axapta considered an advantage.
- Good knowledge of English and Lithuanian.

- Base monthly salary: from 2930€ to 4000€ (before tax). The specific salary offered will depend on the candidate‘s experience, competencies displayed and suitability to the requirements of the position.
