WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR Merchandise Planning: You take ownership of developing and managing seasonal and long-term merchandise plans, always aligned with sales, margin, and stock targets. Data Insights: You analyze historical sales, market trends, and consumer behavior to forecast demand and shape assortments that truly meet customer needs. Budget Ownership: You define and allocate buying budgets across categories, channels, and store types, balancing commercial goals with assortment strategy. Performance Steering: You actively monitor in-season performance using key KPIs such as sell-through, stock levels, and markdowns, and take action to optimize results. Stock Management: You steer stock rebalancing, replenishment, promotions, and end-of-season strategies, while also ensuring precise size and color distribution across stores. Cross-Team Collaboration: You work closely with Buying and Design team to align on commercial priorities and ensure a strong, consistent assortment strategy. Leadership Impact: You prepare and present reports to leadership, highlight risks and opportunities, drive the development of NOS (Never Out of Stock) strategies, and take on leadership responsibility by guiding and developing team members as the function grows. You will be mentoring a team of Junior Merchandising Planners. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Your Educational Background: You hold a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field and bring a strong foundation in commercial and analytical thinking. Your Strengths: You combine advanced expertise in merchandise planning, budgeting, and forecasting with strong analytical skills. You confidently translate data into clear business actions and work effectively with tools such as MS Excel and merchandise planning systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP). You prioritize well, manage multiple topics, and stay agile in a fast-paced retail environment. Your Profile: You bring 8–10 years of experience in merchandising, planning, or financial controlling, ideally within fashion or retail, and have a proven track record of managing complex merchandise plans and driving profitability. You collaborate confidently across Buying, Planning, Design, and Retail teams and communicate insights in a clear and impactful way.
